Gold has outperformed many asset classes including Nifty in Samvat 2080. Pranav Mer, Vice President, of Commodity and Currency Research, at JM Financial Services, said that gold prices were supported by continuous purchases by central banks and changes in global interest rate policies.

 

Silver prices rise by about 40 percent
