Good news for rail passengers. Ahead of the festive season, Indian Railways decided to run many more special trains. Yes, you’ve heard it right. In view of the Bhai Dooj and Chhath festivals, the Railways has decided to run a dozen special trains. These trains will pass through Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, the duration of 2 special trains has been extended till December.

The route and schedule of all these trains are given below. Passengers can also get details of stoppage of these special trains through the railway station, train help number 139, or online. Due to the development of Jaipur railway station, four trains running from Jaipur will be canceled, and the routes of 12 trains will also be changed. The Bathinda-Jaipur-Bathinda train and the Madar-Rewari-Madar train will remain cancelled from the starting station from November 29 to January 13.

Festive special trains will run in November

1. Train No. 05052 Gorakhpur-Kolkata special train will depart from Gorakhpur at 12.05 pm every Saturday on November 9 and 16 and will reach Kolkata at 11.20 am the next day.

2. Train No. 05051 Kolkata-Gorakhpur special train will depart from Kolkata at 1:20 pm on November 3, 10, and 17 and reach Gorakhpur at 08:30 am the next day. Important stations like Jasidih, Madhupur, Chittaranjan, Asansol, and Durgapur are included in the route of these trains.

3. Train No. 07315 Ambala-Muzaffarpur Puja Special train will leave Ambala at 17.20 hrs on 04.11.2024 and will halt at various stations and will reach Muzaffarpur at 16.00 hrs the next day. In the return direction, train number 07316 Muzaffarpur-Ambala Puja Special will leave Muzaffarpur at 13.15 hrs on 09.11.2024 and will reach Amritsar at 06.30 hrs the next day.

4. Train No. 04723 Hisar-Hadapsar (Pune) Special will depart from Hisar at 05.50 hrs on Sunday and arrive at Kota station at 16.35 hrs and reach Hadapsar (Pune) at 11.45 hrs on Monday.

5. Train No. 04724 Hadapsar (Pune) Hisar Special will leave Hadapsar (Pune) at 14.15 hrs on Monday, arrive at Kota station at 09.45 hrs on Tuesday, and reach Hisar at 22.30 hrs. Enroute, the train will halt at Hisar-Hadapsar (Pune), Jhunjhunu, Nawalgarh, Sikar, Reengus, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Bhawanimandi, Nagda, Ratlam, Godhra, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Lonavala, and Pune stations. It will run every Sunday on November 3, 10, and 17, and from Hadapsar (Pune) every Monday on November 4, 11, and 18.

6. Train number 08795/08796 Durg-Amritsar-Durg Festival Special will run from Durg on 07 and 10 November 2024 and from Amritsar on 09 and 12 November 2024. This train will halt at Raipur, Uslapur, Pendraroad, Anuppur, and Shahdol stations of the South East Central Railway.

7. Train No. 08795 Durg-Amritsar Festival Special will depart from Durg at 11.10 am and will reach Amritsar station at 00.05 hrs via Raipur, Anuppur, Shahdol, Katni, Damoh, and Sagar on the second day.

8. Train no. 08796 Amritsar-Durg Festival Special will depart from Amritsar at 01.50 hrs and will reach Durg station at 14.05 hrs via Jalandhar, Ambala Cantt, Delhi Safdarganj, Agra Cantt, Gwalior, and Veerangana Laxmibai on the next day.

9. Train number 05064 Mau (UP) Kolkata special train will depart from Mau (UP) Kolkata at 1:30 pm every Wednesday on November 6 and 13 and will reach Kolkata at 11:20 am the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 05063 Kolkata-Mau Junction special train will depart from Kolkata at 1:20 pm on November 7 and 14 and will reach Mau Junction at 07:00 am the next day. These trains will also have sleeper and air-conditioned coaches.
