School Holidays: Good news for school students. In November, they are going to get more holidays. Yes, you’ve heard it right. The festival of Diwali has come to an end across the country. Like every year, this year also the capital of the country has been transformed into a gas chamber. Pollution continues to wreak havoc in the capital, Delhi, as well as the NCR. In such a situation, parents are now worried about their children. In some places of Delhi, the AQI has gone above 400, which is kept in the severe category. In such a situation, morning assembly has been canceled in many schools.
However, no update has been given by the state government regarding the holidays so far. Last year, schools in the state were closed due to pollution on Diwali.
Delhi schools to remain closed on November 7
Apart from all this, the order to close schools on November 7 due to Chhath Puja has already been issued by the state Chief Minister, Atishi. In such a situation, there will be a holiday in all schools of the state on this date.
Govt’s big decision
So far, no decision has been taken by the state government on holidays due to pollution. However, this step can be taken by the state government if the pollution level increases continuously. The quality of pollution is constantly being monitored by the government. Along with Delhi, pollution is also increasing in Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Noida adjacent to it.
These dates will have winter holidays
The calendar for Delhi schools had already been released. According to the details given in the calendar, winter vacation in all schools in Delhi will be from 1 January 2025 to 15 January 2025.
