New Delhi: The air quality in the capital, Delhi, and surrounding areas is still poor due to fog. Winter has started due to a continuous fall in temperature in the plains of western UP and Uttarakhand. People have started wearing warm clothes to protect themselves from cold. The winter process has also begun in Haryana and Punjab due to the fall in temperature.

There is a chance of rain in some parts due to the formation of a pressure area in the South Bay of Bengal. The amazing thing is that snowfall was also seen in the hilly areas of Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand. Late night, rain was recorded along with thunder in many parts of South India. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in many areas of the country.

According to IMD, the weather in Uttar Pradesh is likely to change rapidly. Meerut, Agra, Auraiya, Lucknow and Varanasi will likely remain covered with dense fog. Due to this, an increase in the air quality index can be seen. Apart from this, the weather is expected to remain clear in many places including Gorakhpur, Mau, Ballia, Sant Kabir Nagar and Bahraich. Dense fog may prevail in some parts of Delhi including Ashok Vihar, Lodhi Road, Palam and Aya Nagar. The weather is expected to be clear in Anand Vihar, Zafarpur, Najafgarh and Pitampura.

How will the weather be in these states?

According to IMD, light fog is expected in Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur and Sriganganagar of Rajasthan on the morning of November 13. The weather is expected to be clear in Ajmer, Barmer, Churu, Jaisalmer and Bikaner. Fog may be seen in Bhopal of MP along with Indore, Jabalpur, Hoshangabad, Gwalior, and Satna.

The weather is expected to remain clear in Talun, Rajgarh, Chhindwara, Kalyanpur and Sagar. Temperature may also drop along with fog in Haryana’s capital Chandigarh, Ambala, Kurukshetra and Hisar. The weather may remain clear in Rohtak, Mahendragarh, Karnal and Damla.

Heavy rain will occur here

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, rain with thunderstorms in many parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are possible from November 13 to 16. Heavy rain may also be seen in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema on 13 and 14. Apart from this, people have been asked to remain confined to their homes in view of the possibility of lightning.
