Changing from RAC to Waiting: Technical Flaws

RAC in Indian Railways means that the passenger gets permission to travel but does not get the full berth. If a passenger cancels the ticket during the journey, the RAC ticket holder can get the full berth. However, in this case, moving from RAC to the waiting list points to a technical problem.

Change in ticket status due to technical problem

Changing a ticket from RAC to the waiting list can be mainly due to technical flaws such as software updates, server issues, or data synchronization. Recently, the railways informed passengers about such problems on social media and assured the passengers that the technical team is working to resolve the issue so that such inconvenience does not happen in the future.
