Ranji Trophy Record: History has written in Ranji Trophy 2024. Two batters from a same team scored triple century to scripted history. Two Goan batters, Kashyap Bakhale (300* of 269 balls), Snehal Kauthankar (314* of 215 balls) from Goa has made a historic partnership against Arunachal Pradesh.

Lomror returned unbeaten after scoring 300

Mahipal Lomror returned unbeaten after scoring 300 runs. Rajasthan declared their first innings by scoring 660 for 7 wickets. Lomror shared more than 100-run partnerships with Kartik Sharma (113) and wicketkeeper-batsman Bharat Sharma (54) as Rajasthan posted a mammoth score of 660 runs in the first innings. Before this match, Mahipal Lomror had 16 half-centuries and seven centuries in first-class cricket and more than 3000 runs.

Goa’s Snehal Kauthankar and Kashyap Bakle also scored triple centuries

It was the first time Lomror scored a double century and then completed his maiden triple century. Apart from Lomror, Goa’s Snehal Kauthankar and Kashyap Bakle also scored triple centuries in the Ranji Trophy. Kashyap Bakle returned unbeaten on 300 off 269 balls, with Snehal Kawthankar scoring 314 off 215 balls. Together they made a record partnership of 606 runs.

Ishan Gadekar and Suyash Prabhudessai were dismissed but after that Snehal Kauthankar and Kashyap Bakle took over. These batsmen scored easily against the Arunachal Pradesh bowlers and craved for wickets. Kashyap Bakley scored 300 runs off 269 balls. He hit 39 fours and 2 sixes in his innings. Snehal Kauthankar scored 314 runs off 215 balls. The batsman hit 45 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. After the record partnership between these two batsmen, Goa declared their first innings at 727 for 2 wickets.
