Weather Update:- The weather is changing very fast. Now winter has done it. Fog has now completely knocked in most of the states of the country. Dense fog is also seen in the capital, Delhi, in the morning and evening. Thick fog looms over the northwestern and northern states, especially Delhi NCR.
On Thursday, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) crossed 400, due to which smog made a gas chamber in the city’s air. Grape-3 restrictions can be imposed to reduce pollution. A drop in Delhi’s temperature has been recorded.
The maximum temperature remains between 26 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature is between 11 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert regarding rain for many country states.
Alert dense fog
Given the dense fog, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Western Rajasthan. A yellow warning has been issued for Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar and Jharkhand.
In southern India, rain is expected due to cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal near the coast of northern Tamil Nadu. According to the Meteorological Department,
Light to moderate rain is expected in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and coastal Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, heavy rains may occur in some areas. Light to moderate rain is also expected in southern Telangana, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
Heavy Rain Alert in These States
According to the IMD, in the next 24 hours, light to moderate rains can be recorded in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and coastal Andhra Pradesh. A warning has been issued for light to moderate rains in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Lakshadweep and southern Telangana. Scattered light rains are expected in northern Punjab today. Light rains are expected in south Konkan and Goa and southern Madhya Maharashtra.
