Currently, the England team is on a tour of the West Indies, where a five-match T20 International series is being played between the two teams. The third match of the series was held in St. Lucia on 14 November, where young cricketer Jacob Bethell from the English team surprised everyone by running out the opposition team’s captain, Shai Hope, with his bullet throw. That ‘special’ throw became the highlight moment of the match, and the video went viral in an instant.
The Incredible Throw
During the England cricket team’s bowling, fast bowler Jofra Archer bowled the first over of the innings. Shai Hope, the West Indies captain, tried to take a run after playing the fourth ball lightly on the leg side. However, Evin Lewis, standing at the other end, refused the run. By the time Lewis stopped Shai from running, the captain had already covered half the crease.

Shai then attempted to return to the crease, but before he could, Jacob Bethel, stationed at mid-wicket, displayed remarkable agility. He quickly picked up the ball and threw it at bullet speed, hitting the stumps and running Shai out. The throw left everyone astonished.
England Wins the Match
England won that match after chasing down West Indies’ target. After losing the toss, the West Indies team managed to score 145/8 in 20 overs. England reached the target in 19.2 overs, losing seven wickets.
Key Contributions from Sam Curran and Liam Livingstone
Sam Curran and Liam Livingstone batted brilliantly at the fifth and sixth positions for England. Curran scored 41 runs from 26 balls, while Livingstone made 39 runs from 28 balls, contributing significantly to the team’s victory.
