Weather Update – Winter has entered. Pollution is at its peak. Visibility has also been reduced due to fog. The mood of the weather is changing very fast across the country. According to IMD, fog may remain in a large part of North India till 7 am.
Winter has wholly entered North India, due to which many areas are in the grip of dense fog. The cold is increasing due to the continuous fall in the temperature level in Delhi NCR. People have also started resorting to heaters in their rooms and bonfires in the morning and evening to protect themselves from the cold.
A period of snowfall is seen in Kashmir, Himachal, and Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many areas of the country.
There will be heavy rain in these states.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued given heavy rains in many parts of the country. Today, a warning was issued for heavy rains with thunderstorms in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Andaman, and Nicobar Islands. Given the possibility of lightning here, people have been appealed to stay indoors.
The IMD has predicted rain in all these places for the next three days, i.e., until November 25. A torrential rain warning was issued in Tamil Nadu, Karaikal, Puducherry, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam on November 26.
Also, heavy rains with lightning may continue in Mahe, Kerala and Rayalaseema. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on November 27.
Fog warning in Punjab, Haryana
According to the IMD, dense fog is likely to prevail in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh, which are the joint capitals of these states. Dense fog may prevail in different areas of these states from late night of November 22 to the morning of November 24.
How will the weather be in Himachal and UP
According to the IMD, the weather will likely remain dry in the plains of Himachal Pradesh today. An alert of dense fog was issued in different parts of the state from late November 23 to the morning of November 26. Also, thick fog in Uttar Pradesh is possible; the weather may remain dry in western UP.
