Royal Enfield has introduced the Royal Enfield Scram 440 in India. It is based on the same chassis as the Himalayan 411 and Scram 411, but now it has a bored-out engine that gives more power and torque than before. The Scram 440 has been brought in two variants, which are Trail and Force. It has been introduced in 5 colour options. Let’s know with what features the Royal Enfield Scram 440 has been introduced.
Royal Enfield Scram 440: Design
The Royal Enfield Scram 440 shares a similar design with the Scram 411. The main updates include a new LED headlight and a funky new colour scheme. It retains the same silhouette and large fuel tank as the Scram 411, along with a thin tail section, making the bike quite attractive.
Royal Enfield Scram 440: Engine
The Scram 440 is powered by a 443cc single-cylinder air and oil-cooled engine, which is a bore-out version of the Himalayan 411’s engine. The engine produces 25.4 PS of power and 34 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike’s chassis is the same as the Scram 411, featuring a half-duplex split cradle frame. It has a 41mm telescopic fork with 190mm suspension travel and a mono-shock with 180mm wheel travel. The bike is equipped with a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear, along with 19-inch front wheels and 17-inch rear wheels.
Royal Enfield Scram 440: Features
The Royal Enfield Scram 440 has a brand-new LED headlight and an instrument cluster. Which has been seen earlier in the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. It has an analog speedometer with a small digital inset which shows an odometer, trip meter and fuel gauge. It also has a Tripper navigation pod, which will be available as an optional accessory. The bike has dual-channel ABS and switchable ABS at the rear wheel

Prices in India
The price of the Royal Enfield Scram 440 has not been revealed yet. It is expected that the ex-showroom price of this bike can be around Rs 2.30 lakh. Its prices will be revealed in January 2025 along with the delivery dates.
