Bhuvneshwar Kumar RCB IPL 2025: Bhuvneshwar Kumar has joined Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB bought Bhuvi for several times more than his base price on the second day of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Bhuvneshwar was sold for Rs 10.75 crore. He is a lethal fast bowler and has delivered brilliant performances on many occasions. Previously, Bhuvneshwar was a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Mumbai Indians initiated the bidding for Bhuvneshwar Kumar, followed by Lucknow Super Giants. Mumbai’s final bid stood at Rs 10.25 crore, while Lucknow went up to Rs 10.50 crore. However, RCB secured the deal with a winning bid of Rs 10.75 crore. With Bhuvneshwar on board, RCB’s bowling unit is expected to strengthen significantly.
Bhuvneshwar Takes a Big Salary Leap
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, previously with Sunrisers Hyderabad, has seen a significant increase in his IPL salary. Hyderabad paid him Rs 4.20 crore in 2024, but now, with Royal Challengers Bangalore, his salary has jumped to Rs 10.75 crore—more than double his previous earnings.

Bhuvi’s Impressive IPL Record
Bhuvneshwar has played 176 IPL matches, taking 181 wickets. His best bowling performance in a match was 5 wickets for 19 runs, and he has achieved five-wicket hauls twice. In international T20s for Team India, Bhuvneshwar has played 87 matches, claiming 90 wickets.
