Weather Update – The level of air pollution in the country’s capital, Delhi, has been continuously getting worse for the last five days. The mood of the weather is changing very fast across the country. Winter has knocked. People have now started wearing jerseys, sweaters and other warm clothes.
In some parts, people have started spending time lighting bonfires. Heavy rains and thunderstorms, including those in Tamil Na, are expected due to the cyclonic storm.
Dense fog is still seen in the capital, Delhi, and surrounding areas. Visibility has reduced considerably due to fog. Due to continuous snowfall in the mountains, the cold has started.
According to the Meteorological Department, till November 30, dense fog will be seen in Bihar, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh in the late night and morning hours. Apart from this, fog is expected in Uttar Pradesh till December 2.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains will likely occur in Puducherry and North Tamil Nadu from November 29 to 30. A similar situation will prevail in Yanam, Rayalaseema and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on November 29.
Heavy rain warning in these areas
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rain with thunderstorms in Tamil Nadu, Karaikal and Puducherry are possible. Heavy rain and lightning are also possible in coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Additionally, an alert has been issued for light rain with thunder and lightning in South Interior Karnataka from November 29 to December 2. Also, rain is expected in Tamil Nadu, Yanam, Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh from November 29 to December 2.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain in Kerala, Mahe, Telangana and Rayalaseema is possible from November 30 to December 2.
