Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahana Yojana is a key program designed for the women of Madhya Pradesh. The previous Shivraj Singh Chauhan government began it in May 2023, with an increase from giving Rs 1000 to now providing women with Rs 15,000 yearly, distributed at a rate of Rs 1250 per month.
Who is eligible for the benefits of Ladli Behna Yojana?
All women who are married (including widows, divorced, and abandoned) and born between 1 January 1963 and 1 January 2000 and are residing in Madhya Pradesh are eligible to apply in 2023.
Women, they should not be reliant on taxpayer money for themselves or their families. The family’s yearly earnings need to be Rs 2.5 lakh.
In a joint family, the land should not exceed 5 acres and no family member should work for the government. It is not allowed to have a tractor or a four-wheeler at home.
If a woman under 60 years old is currently receiving less than Rs 1250 per month from another social security pension scheme, she will receive an additional amount up to Rs 1250.
Married women encompass widows and divorced women as well. The candidate needs to be at least 21 years old and must not exceed 60 years of age.
