Mahindra & Mahindra will increase the prices of its SUVs and commercial vehicles by up to three per cent starting January next year. The company stated on Friday that the price hike is due to rising costs from inflation and increasing commodity prices. While Mahindra & Mahindra has made efforts to minimize the impact of these additional costs, a portion of the increase will be passed on to customers. The price increase will affect various SUVs and commercial vehicles, with the rise capped at three per cent.
MG Motor to Increase Prices from January
JSW MG Motor India will increase the prices of its vehicles by up to 3% starting in January. This price hike is a result of rising component costs and other external factors. Satinder Singh Bajwa, Chief Commercial Officer of JSW MG Motor India, stated, “Our focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability drives us to continuously improve. However, due to rising raw material costs, a slight price increase is unavoidable.”
Maruti Suzuki to Raise Prices by Up to 4%
Maruti Suzuki India has announced a price hike of up to 4% on its vehicle models from January 2025. This increase is to offset the impact of rising raw material costs and operating expenses. The company mentioned that although efforts to optimize costs will continue, some of the increased costs will be passed on to the customers.
Hyundai and Luxury Brands to Increase Vehicle Prices
Hyundai Motor India will raise vehicle prices by up to Rs 25,000 starting January 1. In addition, luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi have also announced price hikes for their vehicles from next month due to rising costs.
