For Maruti Suzuki, the Fronx has become such an SUV whose dominance is being seen outside the country as well as in the country. This crossover is sold under the Suzuki brand.
It was revealed that the cumulative orders for Fronx are 9,000 units. This is 9 times more than Suzuki’s monthly expectation. In October, the export of Fronx from India stood at 7,070 units. The percentage share in exports in the month was 11.49%.
Crossed the milestone of 2 lakh units
Front has emerged as a bestseller in the sub-compact crossover SUV segment due to its sporty style and strong performance. Fronx has also set a new record in the domestic market.
It is the fastest car to achieve the milestone of 2 lakh units of cumulative sales. The Maruti Fronx was the second best-selling vehicle in October in the sub-4 meter segment. The Fronx and Brezza combo also outperformed the Punch and Nexon duo in the third quarter of 2024.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Features and Specifications

Engine and price of Maruti Suzuki Fronx
The Fronx sold in India gets a 1.2-liter K-series petrol engine and a 1.0-liter K-series turbo petrol engine. The first generates 89.73 PS of the power and the 113 Nm of the torque. At the same time, the turbo unit generates 100.06 PS of power and 147.6 Nm of peak torque.
Transmission options include 5MT/5AMT for the 1.2-litre unit and 5MT/6AT for the turbo engine. In Japan, the Fronx is offered with a 1.5-litre K15C engine. This is the same engine used with the Brezza. The Fronx is priced in Japan at 2,541,000 yen (around Rs 14.25 lakh) to 2,739,000 yen (around Rs 15.36 lakh).
