Krishak Bandhu Scheme
Incidentally, the money of this farmer friend scheme is transferred to the farmers’ account in two sectors every year. Before the Kharif season, an instalment amount is credited to the farmers’ accounts. The kharif season begins after Kali Puja. Therefore, just after Kali Puja, an installment of this Kisan Bandhu scheme will be directly credited to the accounts of the farmers of the state.
What to do to get money?
Under this scheme, Rs 10,000 is available. But this money does not enter in one go. The project is funded in two instalments. To get the benefit of this scheme, the customer has to apply in the prescribed format. The entire amount will be available for Rs 5,000 in two phases a year. The farmer has to fill the application form in the Gram Panchayat (GP). The farmer has to submit the photocopy of the relevant documents at the time of application and also provide the original for verification. The farmer whose application has been accepted at the camp will be verified online using the Krishak Bandhu (KB) app and the applicant will be given an acknowledgement slip on the spot.
If the digitization of the physical application is not possible in the Duare Sarkar camp, it will be digitized at the office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture (ADA) of the block using the KB app and an acknowledgement ID will be generated automatically. For every applicant on KB portal. The ADA will verify the application details and land details. After verification, if the details are found to be correct, the ADA will approve the case and result in completion of the enrollment. If the details are incorrect, he will reject the application and file. The applicant will receive a system-generated SMS stating the reason for the rejection.
What are the benefits under the ‘Kisan Bandhu’ assured income scheme?
Farmers who have one acre or more of cultivable land will get Rs 10,000 per acre per year. Farmers with cultivable land of one acre or less will get Rs 4,000 per acre. The amount will be paid in two instalments twice every year, i.e. in Kharif and Rabi seasons.
What are the qualifications required to get money for this project?
The applicant must be a resident of the state, the applicant farmer or sharecropper must have a patta, the farmer should be 18-60 years of age in case of death benefit. The next of kin of the deceased will get a lump sum of Rs 2 lakh. The next of kin will be decided by the Block Development Officer.
