India’s leading motorcycle manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has launched its new bike Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition. Its price has been kept at Rs 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom). This bike can be booked from December 18. This special edition bike has come with some special changes compared to the old Hero XPulse 200 4V, which makes it even more attractive.
Design and Livery
As far as the design is concerned, the body panels of this bike are the same as those found in the regular XPulse 200 4V, but the Dakar Edition has a livery inspired by the Dakar Rally. A large sticker of the Dakar logo has been put on the fuel tank. Also, special graphics of Hero can be seen on the side panels. This livery gives the bike a special racing look, which is an attractive feature for off-road riding enthusiasts.
Performance and Hardware
The Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition has been improved with several technologies for better off-roading. The front suspension is equipped with adjustable telescopic suspension with 250 mm of travel, which allows the bike to run comfortably even on the toughest roads. Apart from this, its 270 mm ground clearance makes it even better for running on rough roads.
The bike also has three ABS modes (anti-lock braking system), with the help of which the rider can customize the level of ABS in different situations. This also improves the braking performance and safety of the bike.
Engine and Power
The Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition has a 199.6cc single-cylinder engine. This engine generates 18.9 bhp of power and 17.35nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox, which provides precise and comfortable shifting.
Wheel and braking system
This bike has a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, which provides stability and excellent grip to the bike during off-road riding. Disc brakes have been provided on both wheels for braking, which provide complete safety even during fast riding and on difficult roads.
Booking and delivery
