Ingredients for making turnip potato sabzi:
250 grams turnip
300 grams potatoes
One onion
One teaspoon ginger garlic paste
Half teaspoon cumin seeds
Two green chillies
Half teaspoon turmeric powder
Half teaspoon chili powder
A pinch of asafoetida
Two tablespoons oil
Salt according to taste
Method of making turnip potato sabzi:
First of all peel the turnip potatoes and cut them into small pieces and keep them in a plate. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan and when it is hot, add asafoetida and cumin seeds. When the tempering crackles a little, add finely chopped onions in it and fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Also add turnip potatoes and fry on high flame.
When the turnip potatoes are fried, add ginger garlic paste and all the spices and mix well. After this, add salt according to taste and add water as per requirement. Then cook it for 5 to 6 minutes. You can keep turnip potato sabzi dry or gravy according to your choice.
