Ingredients to make Ragi Halwa:
250 grams of ragi flour
One bowl of ghee
One bowl of sugar
Half a teaspoon of cardamom powder
10 to 12 finely chopped cashews
10 to 12 finely chopped almonds
Half a teaspoon of fennel powder
Method to make Ragi Halwa:
First of all, sieve the ragi flour well. Heat half a bowl of ghee in a pan. Once the ghee is hot, add ragi flour to it and fry it on low flame for 10 to 5 minutes. When the color of the ragi flour starts changing, add all the chopped dry fruits to it and fry it for 1 to 2 minutes. Now heat two glasses of water in another pan and add one bowl of sugar to it and let it boil well. When this water cools down, mix it in the ragi flour. And prepare a very fine solution of it. Make sure that there are no lumps in the ragi flour.
Once it is well prepared, cook it on medium flame for 5 to 10 minutes. Finally, add half a teaspoon of cardamom powder and one teaspoon of fennel powder and mix it well. Your delicious ragi halwa is ready. Enjoy it with your family.
