One India-One Ticket Update: There is big news for passengers travelling on NaMo Bharat and Delhi Metro. The integrated QR-ticketing system of NCRTC and DMRC has been launched. Now, passengers will be able to book tickets for both NaMo Bharat and Metro services simultaneously. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) officially launched the integrated QR-ticketing system on Monday.
Ticket on Mobile App
This initiative aims to make travel in Delhi-NCR easier and more convenient. NCRTC Managing Director Shalabh Goyal and DMRC Managing Director Dr Vikas Kumar officially launched the integrated ticketing system by booking tickets for NaMo Bharat and Delhi Metro through the mobile app.
RRTS Connect’ App and DMRC Momentum 2.0′ App
They expressed confidence that this digital integration will not only ease journeys for passengers but will also encourage the use of public transport in the National Capital Region. Passengers can now book QR code tickets for Delhi Metro through the ‘RRTS Connect app and QR code tickets for NaMo Bharat through the ‘DMRC Momentum 2.0’ app, enabling hassle-free ticketing in both RRTS and Delhi Metro.
QR-Ticketing System
The new QR-ticketing system will strengthen the integration of RRTS and DMRC networks, ensuring smoother travel across NCR. Both transport systems will now be connected under multi-modal integration. This initiative supports the Government’s ‘One India-One Ticket’ program, which makes inter-modal travel more convenient and simplifies the ticketing process.
Ticketing on App for Passengers
By centring NaMo Bharat and Metro tickets into one digital platform, this initiative will improve connectivity for millions of commuters in NCR. NCRTC is playing a key role in shaping the region’s transport system through the RRTS project. This integration will help reduce ticket queues, save passengers time, encourage digital payments, and make travel faster and more efficient.
NaMo Bharat Tickets Available from IRCTC
NCRTC has also partnered with IRCTC, allowing passengers to book NaMo Bharat train tickets along with Indian Railways tickets on the IRCTC platform. This makes it easier and faster for passengers to get their tickets.
