Ingredients required for making Palak Paneer:
Two hundred and fifty grams of Paneer
Two big onions
Two tomatoes
10 to 15 garlic cloves
2 inch piece of ginger
Half teaspoon cumin seeds
Half teaspoon black pepper
One teaspoon turmeric powder
One teaspoon coriander powder
One teaspoon chili powder
Half teaspoon garam masala
Salt according to taste
Half cup oil
Method of making Palak Paneer:
First of all, put the spinach in the cooker and let it whistle once and keep it in a plate to cool down. Cut the paneer into small pieces and fry the paneer lightly by adding two teaspoons of oil in a pan.
Make a fine paste of onion, tomato, green chilli and ginger garlic. Similarly, grind the spinach well and make a paste.
Heat a pan on the gas and heat 4 to 5 teaspoons of oil. Add half teaspoon cumin seeds, two whole red chillies, dry red chilli in hot oil. After the cumin seeds crackle, add the onion paste and fry for 5 minutes.
After the onions are cooked, add turmeric, coriander, chili, dry mango powder and garam masala and mix well. When the masala starts leaving its oil, add spinach paste and salt and stir well.
When the spices and spinach are mixed well, add paneer and cook for 10 minutes.
