Finally the government has released the list of holidays for schools and offices in the year 2025. These include 24 public holidays and 31 restricted holidays. In 2025, 14 out of the 24 general holidays will land on weekends—Saturdays and Sundays. The Uttar Pradesh government has clarified that government employees won’t receive any extra leave because of these holidays falling on weekends. Here’s the rundown of the holidays.
