Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana Update: Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana is an important scheme launched by the Government of India for pregnant women and new mothers. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance during pregnancy and after childbirth to help women focus on their health and the care of their children.
The Integrated Child Development Services Department, through Anganwadi workers, has started registration under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. Starting from January 2025, registered pregnant women, lactating mothers, and those who begin vaccinating their children will receive the benefit of ₹5,000 under the scheme.
