Let us tell you that there are about 78 lakh retired pensioners in NAC and 7.5 crore employees are working in the industrial sector.
In this regard, the committee said that the Finance Minister assured the delegation that the government is very sensitive towards the needs of the elderly. All the proposals put forward by EPFO are being seriously considered.
