These ingredients will be needed to make Malpua:

Half a cup of cream

One cup of flour

Half a spoon of cardamom powder

One cup of sugar

One cup of water

2 to 3 cups of milk

One fourth cup of semolina

Method of making Malpua:

Step 1

To make Malpua, first of all you have to take a vessel and take semolina and flour in it. Then mix both these things well, then add milk to it. Now prepare a paste of flour and semolina. Remember that this paste should not be too thin. Then add cream to it and mix. You have to keep this paste covered for 15 minutes.

Step 2

While it is mixing with the flour, prepare the syrup for the Malpua. Then for this, add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a vessel. After this, add cardamom powder to it for fragrance. This will make both the color and taste of the Malpua excellent. You can also add saffron to it as per your wish. Another thing to keep in mind is that the syrup has to be kept without a wire.

Step 3

Now you have to take a non-stick pan, then heat it by adding ghee to it. Now prepare small puri shaped Malpuas in it. When the Malpuas are cooked from the bottom, then flip it and cook the other side as well. When the Malpua turns brown from both sides, take it out from the pan. Keep in mind that Malpua should always be cooked on low flame. Then when it is cooked, put it in sugar syrup.

Step 4

Now after putting the Malpua in sugar syrup, take it out. You will see that the syrup has reached inside the Malpua. There you go, hot Malpua is ready. Now serve the Malpua and enjoy.
