To make moong dal chilla, you will need these ingredients:

One cup moong dal

One grated carrot

One finely chopped cabbage

One finely chopped capsicum

Two to three finely chopped coriander leaves

Salt according to taste

Half spoon cumin powder

Water as per requirement

Oil or ghee for preparing chilla

One chopped onion

One chopped tomato

Half spoon red chilli powder

Half spoon turmeric powder

Finely chopped coriander leaves

Here is the method of making moong dal chilla

To make moong dal chilla, wash the moong dal thoroughly first. Then soak the dal in a big vessel for about four to five hours. In this time, the dal will swell well, then put it in the mixer and grind it very well. If the paste is thick and you want to make it thin, then mix some water in it. But it is also important to keep in mind that the paste prepared from moong dal should not be too thin.

Take out this paste in a vessel and add turmeric powder, a pinch of asafoetida, green coriander, cumin seeds, red chili powder, salt and all the finely chopped vegetables.
