Bnsl 4G Network: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is quickly developing a 4G network. If you are a BSNL customer, then good news is coming your way. 2025 has started, and BSNL’s 4G network will be operational by March.
With this, the 3G network running from before will be shut down. BSNL has 40 lakh consumers, more than 50 per cent active. In the first phase, BSNL has permanently shut down the 3G network in Munger, Khagaria, Begusarai, Katihar, and Motihari.
According to the information, the 3G network of other districts, including Patna, will now be shut down. With this, customers with 3G SIMs will only get the facility of calling, not the facility of data.
According to BSNL Chief General Manager RK Chaudhary, the 4G network has been completely updated in various state districts. As a result, the 3G network has been shut down in most districts. 3G service will also be shut down in the remaining areas starting January 15.
Get a new SIM for free in exchange for a 3G SIM.
BSNL Mobile Service Chief General Manager Shankar Prasad says you can replace a 3G SI with a 4G SIM cart.
The good thing is that no fee will be paid for this. For this, BSNL customers can go to their nearest customer service centre or BSNL office. You will get a new SIM in exchange by depositing the old SIM there.
Customers will have to take their photo identity card to the centre. He said that SIMs issued before 2017 are being replaced. The new SIM will also support 5G.
Now, BSNL is ready to give tough competition to private telecom companies. After the 4G network arrives, more people can join BSNL because its recharge plan is cheaper.
