Mandhana Reaches 15th Spot in the World Rankings
Smriti Mandhana is now the 15th woman in the world to surpass 4,000 runs in ODIs. She became the second Indian to achieve this milestone after Mithali Raj, though she surpassed Mithali in reaching this figure faster. Mandhana scored an impressive 41 runs against Ireland, giving India a solid start.
Record Set in the 9th Over
Mandhana reached this milestone by taking a single off Arlene Kelly’s delivery in the 9th over of India’s chase. Leading the team in the absence of Harmanpreet Kaur, she gave India a great start in their pursuit of 239 runs.

Harmanpreet Kaur, in contrast, has scored 3,803 runs in 141 ODIs, placing Mandhana far ahead.
