According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation is formed in the southeast and southwest of the Bay of Bengal, due to which rain is expected in the northeastern and southern regions. Heavy rains may be seen at some places in Tamil Nadu, Karaikal and Puducherry on January 12. Also, rain can be recorded in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh on January 13 and 14. According to the Meteorological Department, rain in Kerala, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Mahe and coastal Andhra Pradesh on January 13 is possible.
Cold Wave and Fog Warning
According to the Meteorological Department, a cold wave is possible in Himachal Pradesh on January 12. From January 11 to January 15, dense fog may prevail in Bihar, Chandigarh, Haryana, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, eastern Rajasthan, and sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
