The current Wagon-R has two engine options which include 1.0L and 1.2L engines. According to sources, the new Wagon will have a 1.2-liter petrol engine of the Z series. This engine can generate 80 to 82 PS of power and 110 to 112 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes with a 5-manual and 5-automatic transmission.
This engine is light in weight and powerful. It gives better mileage. This engine can give good performance in all weather conditions. With the new engine, the mileage of the car can go up to 23-24 kmpl. There is also news that the option of CNG will also be available in the new Wagon-R.

For safety, this car can get features like 6 airbags, an anti-lock braking system with EBD, a brake assist, and 3 3-point seat belts. These features will help make driving safe and comfortable.
