BMW Bikes: Premium motorcycle manufacturer BMW Motorrad India has announced a price increase of 2.5 percent across its entire model range. The updated pricing has on effect from January 1 of the upcoming year. The company attributed this decision to rising input costs and inflationary pressures.
Range of BMW vehicles in India
BMW Motorrad, a division of BMW Group India, commenced its operations in April 2017 and has since introduced a variety of high-end motorcycles and scooters, including the ‘BMW G 310 RR’, ‘BMW G 310 R’, ‘BMW S 1000 RR’, ‘BMW G 310 GS’, ‘BMW M 1000 RR’, ‘BMW CE 02’, and ‘BMW CE 04’.
Locally manufactured models
Currently, BMW India offers three locally manufactured models in the domestic market: the ‘BMW G 310 R’, ‘BMW G 310 GS’, and ‘BMW G 310 RR’. Its Completely Built Unit (CBU) lineup features M models, adventure motorcycles, roadsters, touring bikes, and various other motorcycles. Additionally, the company markets two electric two-wheeler models, the ‘CE 02’ and ‘CE 04’.

With a standard three-year warranty
All BMW two-wheelers sold in India come with a standard three-year warranty. The latest addition to the company’s lineup is the ‘CE 02’ electric scooter, which is priced at Rs. 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The most affordable model is the ‘BMW G 310 R’, available at Rs. 2.90 lakh. Conversely, the priciest motorcycle in their collection is the ‘M1000 RR’, which retails for Rs. 49 lakh (ex-showroom). The forthcoming price adjustments will significantly affect the ex-showroom prices of all models within the BMW India portfolio.
