Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Maruti Suzuki has introduced the fourth-generation Dzire subcompact sedan, starting at a price of Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest Dzire features a thoroughly revamped design and enhanced features, along with a new engine sourced from the recently launched fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift in India.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire vs two other sedans in the Indian market

The subcompact sedan market has experienced a decline in share due to the growing popularity of SUVs and crossovers; however, the Dzire maintains a dedicated customer base. The new Amaze, which was launched in the last month of December, has made the compitition in the segment more serious. Hyundai also competes in this segment with its Aura subcompact sedan.

Tough competition in this segment

With the introduction of the Suzuki Dzire, the competition in this category is heating up, especially with the upcoming launch of the latest Honda Amaze next month. The pricing for these three subcompact sedans is as follows: the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is priced between Rs 6.79 lakh and Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom). This pricing applies to the fourth-generation model, which has came into the market from December 2024.

Other expenses for the new Dzire

Additionally, the new Dzire can be acquired through a EMI plan starting at Rs 18,248 per month, covering registration, insurance, maintenance, and roadside assistance. The sedan is offered in both petrol and petrol-CNG variants, with available trims including LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+.

Now as we know that Maruti Suzuki Dzire has became a first choice car for many Indian consumers. The car can be used for personal, as well as for commercial purposes. On the other hand, the other two sedans we are talking about yet not hit as commercial vehicles. Though some people prefer to use Amaze and Aura as personal usages.
