Toyota vehicles have consistently enjoyed significant popularity among Indian consumers. Recently, Toyota disclosed its sales figures for December 2024. Notably, the Toyota Innova emerged as the best-selling model during this timeframe. The sales figures also include the Toyota Hycross and Crysta as part of the Innova lineup. In total, 9,700 units of the Toyota Innova were sold, reflecting a 24 percent increase compared to the same month last year, when it recorded 7,832 new customers in December 2023.

Following the Innova, the Toyota Hyrider secured the second position in sales, with 4,770 units sold, marking a 4 percent decline year-on-year.

The Toyota Glanza ranked third, with sales of 3,487 units, which represents a 15 percent decrease compared to the previous year. The Toyota Taser came in fourth place, achieving sales of 2,628 units during this period. The Toyota Fortuner was fifth, with 2,206 units sold, experiencing a notable annual decline of 29 percent. In sixth place was the Toyota Rumion, which saw a remarkable increase of 113 percent, selling 1,775 units.

The Toyota Hilux ranked seventh, with sales of 170 units, reflecting a significant annual decline of 47 percent. The Toyota Camry was eighth on the list, with only 88 units sold, representing a 51 percent decrease year-on-year. Lastly, the Toyota Welfare secured the ninth position in the sales rankings.
