Auto Expo 2025: The India Mobility Global Expo 2025 is set to unveil numerous surprises. Many companies are gearing up to introduce their latest vehicle models, while others aim to captivate customers with their distinctive offerings. Among the newcomers is Gensol EV, which has been spotted multiple times testing its vehicle in India.
A three-wheeled electric vehicle
Unlike the typical electric cars currently available, Gensol EV is launching a three-wheeled electric vehicle named Agio. Images from its testing phase reveal the car’s design in an uncamouflaged state, likely undergoing evaluation by ARAI.
Information from the Gensol EV website
According to information from the Gensol EV website, the Agio has successfully obtained ARAI certification. The company claims it will deliver a range of 200 km on a single charge and achieve a top speed of 80 km/h. The rear of the vehicle features the Agio branding, and the company has also released a teaser under the same name. In addition to the Agio badge, a teal blue EV badge is visible. The front design resembles that of a conventional car, complete with standard headlights, fog lights, and a closed grille.
The vehicle is equipped with a wiper blade for the front windshield, but notably lacks one for the rear, similar to many budget models. Up to the front door, the design appears traditional, but there is no rear door. At the back, a single wheel is positioned centrally, likely housing the electric motor. A rear tailgate provides access to a practical boot space, accompanied by the Gensol Agio taillights.
The design also includes a shark fin antenna and a dual-tone black roof for an elegant touch. While the spy shots do not reveal the interior, the company’s website suggests several features, including manual air conditioning and a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system that may support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
