Star Indian batter Virat Kohli returned to his holiday home in Alibaug on Tuesday morning. Earlier, the former Indian captain was seen at the Gateway of India jetty in Mumbai. Virat Kohli was accompanied by his wife, Anushka Sharma. After enjoying the sea from the boat, the couple returned to their new luxurious holiday home in Alibaug.
According to Architectural Digest, Kohli and Anushka’s holiday home was designed by Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA), led by Philippe Fouche. The couple bought the 8-acre plot in 2022 for around ₹19 crore. The villa covers 10,000 square feet and features a temperature-controlled pool, a special kitchen, four bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a large garden, covered parking, staff quarters, and more.
The price of the villa is Estimated at INR 34 crore
The property also features Italian marble, ancient stone, and Turkish limestone. Reports suggest that Kohli has spent between ₹10.5 crore and ₹13 crore on the construction of the villa. Currently, Virat Kohli lives in a luxurious house spread over 7,171 square feet in Mumbai with his family. The house is valued at ₹34 crore. Additionally, Kohli owns a bungalow worth ₹80 crore in Gurugram.
Reports of a Move to London
There are rumours that Kohli and Anushka might relocate to London, as he has reportedly decided to retire from cricket. Kohli had a poor performance during the Australian tour, scoring only 190 runs in nine innings. His only century came in the second innings of the Perth Test in November. Throughout the five-match series, Kohli was frequently dismissed by balls outside the off-stump, with Boland dismissing him four out of eight times.

Possible Participation in Ranji Matches for Delhi
Meanwhile, Kohli has been included in the list of probable players for the last two matches of the Ranji Trophy by the Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA). However, it is unlikely that he will play in either match. This comes after India’s head coach, Gautam Gambhir, emphasized the importance of Test players participating in domestic first-class cricket whenever possible.
