PNB requests that customers provide updated information, including identity proof, address proof, a recent photograph, PAN/Form 60, income proof, and a mobile number (if not already provided), along with any other necessary KYC details at any branch. You can also complete this process through PNB One/Internet Banking Services (IBS) or by sending a registered email or post to your home branch by January 23.
The bank has warned that failing to update your KYC details on time may lead to restrictions on your account operations. For assistance, feel free to visit your nearest Punjab National Bank branch or check out the official website at https://www.pnbindia.in.
What is KYC?
KYC, or Know Your Customer, is a process used by banks and companies to verify the identity of their customers. As per the Reserve Bank of India’s guidelines, it is essential for customers to comply with the KYC process. Even after opening an account, you may receive reminders from the bank or company regarding KYC updates periodically.
