CM Samuhik Vivah Yojna: Under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme, eligible couples can now avail the benefit of Rs 51 thousand. You have to register for this scheme. The District Social Welfare Officer said that under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme, eligible couples will be provided a total benefit of Rs 51 thousand. In this scheme, Rs 35 thousand will be deposited in the girl’s account, marriage gift material worth Rs 10 thousand will be provided and Rs 6 thousand will be spent on organizing the mass marriage program.
Poor and needy families will get help
The objective of the scheme is to provide assistance for marriage to the daughters of destitute, poor and needy families. Priority will be given to those girls who are destitute, daughter of a widow woman, daughter of disabled parents or are themselves disabled.
Eligibility conditions
- The girl’s parents should be native residents of Uttar Pradesh.
- The annual income of the applicant family should not exceed Rs 2 lakh.
- At the time of marriage, the age of the girl should be 18 years or more and the age of the groom should be 21 years or more.
- It is mandatory to submit age certificate (such as birth certificate, educational record, Aadhar card etc.) along with the application.
- Applicants from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes will have to submit caste certificate.
- The girl should be unmarried, widow, deserted or divorced and should be in a position to remarry.

Interested persons can apply online on the official website. Applications can be submitted online at any Jan-Suvidha Kendra, cyber cafe or personally. After selection of eligible persons, marriage programs will be organized at urban body and development block level.
