India Mobility Global Expo 2025 will be organized at Bharat Mandapam in the country’s capital Delhi from January 17. Vehicle manufacturers from all over the world are going to participate in this auto expo organized in a completely new style. Electric cars will also be seen in this event this time. Big car companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, and Hyundai are ready to introduce their new vehicles. But this time people’s eyes will be on the 5 special electric cars to be introduced at the expo.
Hyundai Creta Electric
Hyundai is going to introduce its famous SUV Creta in an electric avatar. Recently the company has shared the details with some of its pictures. In terms of design, the Hyundai Creta Electric is very similar to its ICE-powered (petrol-diesel) model. No changes have been made to most of the body panels. Only new soft plastic parts are seen in it.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The new Suzuki e-Vitara is very similar to the concept model. Its look, design, and even size are similar to Maruti eVX. Although some sharp angles have been reduced, a large part of it is similar to the eVX concept. It has tri-slash LED daytime running lights at the front and rear, charging ports on the front edges, and curves on the rear wheel arch. In this, the rear door handle has been moved to the C-pillar, which is exactly like the old Swift.
Tata Sierra EV
The cabin of the Tata Sierra EV is given a dual digital screen, a four-spoke steering wheel, and a touch button with a toggle switch for temperature. The center console has been given a very clean design. Sierra Electric is expected to get plenty of space. Because the rear seats can be slid and reclined. However, its technical details have not been shared yet. But it can be offered with two battery packs of 60 kWh to 80 kWh capacity. It is believed that this SUV will give a range of up to 500 km on a single charge.
Tata Harrier EV
Harrier Electric will be the first electric car from Tata Motors to come with a twin motor set-up and all-wheel-drive system. The all-wheel drive (AWD) model will have several terrain modes like Normal, Snow, Sand, Rock, and Grass. This SUV will also be equipped with different traction levels. Although no official information has been revealed about its battery and powertrain yet, this SUV may also give a range of 500 km on a single charge.
Vayve Eva
Pune-based electric vehicle start-up Vayve Mobility is going to introduce its new solar-powered electric car Vayve EVA at the India Mobility Expo this time. Its prototype model was presented to the world at the last Auto Expo. The start-up claims that this is the country’s first solar-powered electric car. This car has been designed keeping in mind the daily commute in the urban area, which can prove to be a perfect option for your everyday short trips.
