Talking about features, it includes an LCD instrument console that gives readouts including estimated range, speedometer, odometer, battery level and a clock. Ampere also consists of a side-stand sensor, and the electric scooter has a 150kg loading capacity.
The electric scooter also gets a “Limp Home” feature that allows riders to travel for up to 10km when the battery level drops to 10 percent. The battery is powered by a hub motor linked to a removable 2.2kWh lithium-ion battery. The company claims an acceleration of 0-40kmph in 10 seconds and a top speed of 53kmph. The Magnus EX comes with two riding modes, i.e. Eco and City, and the reverse mode. The electric scooter claims a range of over 100km and takes 6-7 hours to charge from 0 to 100 per cent.
Ampere Magnus EX Suspension and Breaks
Regarding suspension and breaks, it has a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by 130mm drum brakes at the front and rear, with a combined braking system (CBS) as standard. It has 10-inch steel wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres. It has a ground clearance of 147mm.
