Ather Rizta: Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ather Energy officially launched its new electric scooter Ather Rizta in the country in April this year. Now the company has started its production and the first electric scooter has been rolled out from the company’s plant. The first picture of this new scooter has been shared on social media by the company’s CEO and co-founder Tarun Mehta.
Tarun Mehta shared the picture of the new Ather Rizta on the social networking site ‘X’ and wrote, “The first production version of Rizta rolled out from the assembly line of the plant.” The company has introduced this scooter as a family electric scooter, which has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the family.
Ather Rizta Specification
Talking about specification, then it has a 22-liter frunk (front storage space) and 34 liters boot space. That is, a total of 56 liters boot space has been given in this scooter. The company has also provided a small pocket in the under seat storage, where you can keep your wallet, cleaning cloth or any other small thing.

Talking about features, then the company has provided a 7.0-inch non-touch DeepView digital display on the dashboard, which is seen in the 450S. While the Z variant comes with a 7.0-inch TFT touchscreen display as seen in the 450X electric scooter. Equipped with telescopic forks, 12-inch alloy front wheels and front disc brakes, the scooter also gets a security cover and a wraparound LED tail light.
Ather Rizta Battery and Range
Talking about battery and range, then It has been launched in the market with two different battery packs. Rizta S has a small battery pack (2.9 kWh) which gives a range of up to 121 km (105 km true range) in a single charge. On the other hand, Rizta Z has the option of a larger battery pack (3.7 kWh) which is capable of traveling up to 160 km (125 km true range) in a single charge.
This battery pack, which comes with IP67 rating, has a water wading capacity of 400 mm. This means that you can easily drive it in almost all types of road conditions.
