Lexus, the luxury division of Japanese automaker Toyota, has revealed plans to present two concept vehicles at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. These models will be featured alongside Toyota’s exhibition and are anticipated to highlight the full spectrum of vehicles available in India, in addition to the concept cars.
Where will the cars be displayed?
The display area is likely to be segmented into distinct zones, including a hybrid zone, a lifestyle zone, and a future zone. The Lexus LF-ZC concept is a significant step towards the brand’s upcoming sedan lineup, with the next-generation LS expected to debut in 2026. This production model will be an electric sedan characterized by a more traditional roofline and clearly defined doors. While specific technological details remain undisclosed, Lexus has suggested that the vehicle will offer an impressive range of approximately 1000 km and will be available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. A single image of the interior has emerged, showcasing a rectangular steering wheel positioned in front of a large, seamless display on the dashboard.
Lexus ROV, a robust vehicle
In stark contrast to the LF-ZC, the ROV is an off-road hydrogen-powered concept vehicle, essentially a covered all-terrain vehicle (ATV). It incorporates some design features typical of Lexus while embracing a compact and rugged aesthetic. The open cabin is constructed for strength and durability, utilizing extensive carbon fiber, and the steering wheel prominently displays the Lexus logo. Additionally, it features a unified instrument cluster that aligns with its robust design theme.
The ROV is equipped with a 1.0-liter hydrogen-powered engine, although detailed specifications have not been disclosed. This concept represents Lexus’ initiative to develop an enjoyable small vehicle tailored for off-road adventures, suggesting it could serve as a complementary option for owners of larger Lexus SUVs seeking a transportable accessory for their outdoor activities.
