Bajaj Freedom 125: The world’s first CNG bike is Bajaj Freedom 125. Now this motorcycle is officially available for purchase in areas around Delhi as well. It was launched in the Indian market on July 5. Its delivery started on July 16, which was for Pune. According to Bajaj Auto, more than 30 thousand inquiries were received for the CNG bike within a week of its launch.

Bajaj Freedom 125 Features

Talking about features, then this Bajaj motorcycle is built on a trellis frame, which comes with front telescopic forks and mono-shock rear suspension. It has 17-inch tyres with 240mm disc brakes at the front. At the rear, 130mm disc brakes have been provided with 16-inch tyres. The wheelbase of this CNG bike is 1340mm and the seat height is 825mm. Its ground clearance is 170mm.

Talking about engine, then Baja’s CNG motorcycle has a 125cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which generates 9.4bhp of power at 8000rpm and 9.7Nm of torque at 5000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It has a 2-liter petrol tank and a 2-liter CNG tank. That is, the total fuel capacity is 4 liters.

Bajaj Freedom 125 Mileage

Talking about mileage, then this bike can run 200 km in CNG mode and 130 km in petrol mode. That means it can be run up to 330 km in a full tank. Overall, it gives a mileage of 65 km per liter. This motorcycle comes with throttle control. Its top speed in CNG mode is 90.5 km per hour and in petrol mode its top speed is 93.4 km per hour.

Talking about price, then the starting price of Bajaj Freedom 125 is Rs 95,000. At the same time, the price of its top model is Rs 1.10 lakh. This price is according to ex-showroom. It can be purchased in three variant options – NG04 Drum, NG04 Disc LED and NG04 Drum LED.
