Bajaj Platina has achieved significant success in the market, particularly appealing to the everyday consumer, including those in rural regions. The motorcycle has been introduced in India, adhering to the BS6 emission standards.
Bajaj Platina 110 has impressive safety features
The Bajaj Platina 110 cc is equipped with impressive safety features, including a single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) paired with a front disc brake. This design minimizes the risk of tire skidding on various road conditions. Additionally, drum brakes are provided for the rear wheels. The motorcycle also boasts a specially designed seat for enhanced comfort during long rides, complemented by telescopic front suspension and dual spring suspension at the rear.
Engine
Powered by a robust engine, the Bajaj Platina 110cc features a 115.45 cc air-cooled fuel-injected engine that generates 8.6 PS of power and 9.8 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, and the manufacturer claims it achieves a fuel efficiency of over 70 kilometers per liter.
In addition to the BS6 engine, the motorcycle has received several updates, including a new tinted windscreen replacing the previous color-matched cowl and the addition of LED daytime running lights near the headlamp, enhancing its modern aesthetic. The seat pattern has also been updated, and the bike features a 28 percent increase in front suspension height and a 22 percent increase in rear suspension height.
Discontinued
Bajaj Auto has also ceased production of the Platina 110 ABS in India, alongside the Pulsar F250. The decision to discontinue the ABS variant was influenced by its declining sales over recent years. The Bajaj Platina 110 ABS has been taken off the official website, marking the end of its availability. Notably, it was the sole motorcycle in the sub-125cc category equipped with single-channel ABS. However, as the most costly model in the Platina lineup, the lack of demand ultimately led to its removal from the market.
