Just 10 days are left for the start of the country’s biggest auto event, Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This grand event is going to have 7 big launches and many exciting surprises. Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest car company, will also reveal its future plans at this event. The company will present its electric vehicle (EV) development vision and efforts to promote the electric ecosystem, to encourage the adoption of electric mobility.
Maruti Suzuki’s ‘E for Me’ vision
Maruti Suzuki has named its electric vision ‘E for Me’. The company says that it aims to have a ‘comprehensive approach’ to electric vehicles as well as their infrastructure and ‘innovative solutions’ to make them more accessible.
Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India, said, “This strategy is more than just launching electric vehicles. It is about creating a complete ecosystem that makes the transition to electric mobility natural and seamless for every Indian.”
‘E for Me’ to be showcased in full and debut e-Vitara
Maruti will unveil the full dimension of ‘E for Me’ at the upcoming India Mobility Global Expo 2025, giving visitors a first-hand experience of this vision. Maruti is also all set to unveil its e-born SUV, the e-Vitara, at the auto show.

The model is Suzuki’s first global BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) model. Suzuki has said that the production of the electric Vitara is set to begin in March 2025 at Suzuki Motor’s Gujarat plant. Production is also planned to begin in Europe and Japan later this year.
Tata and Mahindra will face tough competition
Car experts believe that new options in the EV segment will make this category even bigger among Indian buyers. Maruti hopes that with this launch, it will attract buyers of battery-powered SUVs.
