What changes will be there in the interior
Changes will also be seen in the interior of the Dark Edition. It will have black upholstery, which will replace the existing light beige seats. A new dual-tone black finish can also be found on the dashboard, which will make the cabin look even more premium.
Engine options will remain the same
However, only cosmetic changes are being made in this new edition, but the engine options will remain the same. The Citroen Basalt currently has two engine options –
- 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (82hp)
- 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine (110hp)
The turbo-petrol engine will also get the option of an automatic gearbox. It is not clear at the moment whether both engine options will be available in the Dark Edition or this variant will come only on the top-spec trim.
