In view of the increasing demand for electric vehicles, MG Motor has introduced its new MG 4 electric hatchback. This car has been revealed in the regulatory system of China, where information about its design and specifications has come to the fore. The special thing is that this car is equal to the Hyundai Creta in size, due to which it can make a strong hold in the Indian market.

Compared to the old MG 4, it has become 108mm longer, 4mm wider and 35mm higher. Apart from this, its wheelbase is also 45mm longer, which has improved the stability and interior space of the car. In terms of size, this car is bigger than Hyundai Creta and MG’s Windsor. In Europe, it competes with cars like Volkswagen ID.3, from which it can be guessed how premium it will be.

Design
The new design of the MG 4 looks more aggressive and futuristic than before.
Front Look – It has thin LED headlights and a honeycomb design front bumper, which gives it a powerful look.
Side Profile – New door panels and a larger greenhouse make it look sportier than before.
Rear Design – Arrow shaped taillights have been given at the rear, which seem to be inspired by the Cyberster model.
Powerful battery, motor and performance of MG 4
This car has a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which makes its range and performance excellent.
Motor power – It has a 163hp electric motor, which enables it to reach a top speed of 160km/h.
Battery capacity – Its entry-level variant has a 51kWh battery, which gives it a WLTP certified range of 350km.
Torque and driving experience – The 170hp motor generates a torque of 250Nm, which gives it a very smooth and powerful driving experience.

MG 4 will be launched in India
Although the MG 4 was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, the company has not yet made any official announcement regarding its Indian launch. Still, given the growing demand for electric vehicles in India, the possibility of its launch is quite high. If this car comes to India, it can be priced between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 30 lakh.
