According to Sarla Aviation, the service of this flying air taxi can be started in India by 2028. Initially, the air taxi service will be started in big metro cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Pune. It is designed to make urban commuting easier.
Amazing Features of Shunya Electric Air Taxi
According to Sarla Aviation, ‘Shunya’ is the eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) with the highest payload in the aviation industry. It is designed in a 6-seating layout. This electric air taxi can carry a maximum weight of 680 kg.
This electric air taxi is capable of flying at a speed of 250 km/h and is best for traveling up to 20-30 km. The flying taxi service is quieter and more convenient than a fuel-powered helicopter.
Safe and powerful
The ‘Shunya’ electric air taxi built by Sarla Aviation has six propellers, which reduces the chances of accidents significantly. Apart from this, there are four double-isolated battery packs, which power seven electric motors. There is also a plan to provide additional battery backup.
