Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has today launched the second generation GranTurismo car in the Indian market.
The company has launched this two-door (2+2 seating arrangement) coupe car in two variants. Its Modena variant is priced at Rs 2.72 crore and the top-range Trofeo variant at Rs 2.90 crore (both prices ex-showroom).
The special thing is that the company has used the same 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo petrol engine in both variants.
However, the company has given different tuning to the engine in both variants, which affects the power output.
There is also a difference in many cosmetics and features. Apart from this, the company has also announced the launch of the all-electric GranTurismo Folgore. It is planned to introduce it by next year.

The V6 engine used in its Modena variant generates a powerful power of 490hp and torque of 600Nm. The company claims that this car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
The company has also given the same engine in the Trofeo variant, but due to being tuned, this variant generates 550hp of power and 650Nm of torque.
This variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The power of these output of its engine is that slightly higher.
The top speed of this amazing car is 320 km/h. In both models, the company has given 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear.

The Modena variant has a 12.2-inch digital-dial display as standard features. Apart from this, a 12.3-inch central infotainment system and an 8.8-inch touchscreen display are also available.
This touchscreen display will be used to operate functions like climate control. It also has a digital clock and an optional head-up display.

The company has given the all-wheel-drive (AWD) system as standard in the Trofeo variant. Apart from this, the iconic bumper of the car has been created more aggressive than Modena.
