Hero Electric Optima: Veteran two-wheeler manufacturer Hero launched the Optima CX 2.0 and 5.0 in India a few months ago with updated features. This is a popular electric scooter, which comes in two variants. Both are high-speed (CX) models. Both have a top speed of 45 kmph. Also, the Optima Electric is strong in terms of range. Hero Electric Optima Features

Talking about features, then features includes a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, walk assist function, reverse mode, regenerative braking, remote lock with anti-theft alarm, USB charging port and an LED headlight. This electric scooter has telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It has a drum brake system and comes with 12-inch alloy wheels.

Hero Electric Optima Engine

Talking about engine, then it is powered by a 550W BLDC hub motor that generates a peak power of 1.2kW. It is paired with a removable 51.2V, 30Ah lithium-ion battery pack. The battery can be charged in 4 to 5 hours. As far as speed is concerned, it is claimed to offer a top speed of 45 kmph.

Also, Hero Electric Optima is capable of covering a distance of 82 KM in a single charge. Whereas, the CX ER variant comes with a range of 140 KM.

Hero Electric Optima Price

Talking about price, then the Optima CX single battery CX variant is priced at Rs 67,190 and the dual battery pack CX ER (Extended Range) variant is priced at Rs 85,190. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi. Its prices may different according to the states. Hero Optima CX directly competes with electric scooters like the Bounce Infinity E1, BGauss A2 and Ampere Magnus.
