Hero Passion Pro Discontinued: Hero has removed the bike Passion Pro officially, and dealerships have also confirmed that the bike of Hero is not available. According to the report, the company has not clarified whether this ban is permanent or temporary.
However, for those who buy the Passion series bikes, the company’s lineup still has the Hero Passion XTEC and affordable Passion Plus models available.
Other models are available at a higher price
Hero MotoCorp newly introduced the Hero Passion Pro in new variants, with an price of approx ₹ 85,000 (ex showroom). It has a 113.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which generates 9 bhp of power and 9.89 Nm of torque. It has a 4-speed gearbox. The Passion Pro was once the second best-selling model in Hero’s lineup after the Splendor.
Hero Passion XTEC
The Hero Passion XTEC is a feature-rich variant of the Passion Pro. It gets additional features like LED headlamp, digital instrument console, and Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS alerts. In this bike USB charging is available and a side-stand cut-off sensor. It gets the engine of 113.2 cc as same as the Passion Pro. It is priced at Rs 80,038, ex-showroom.
Passion Plus is a better option
Those who want a more simple and lightweight commuter bike can opt for the Hero Passion Plus. It gets a 97.2 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 7.91 bhp power and 8.05 Nm of peak torque. It ges a 4 speed gear box. It gets a semi-digital instrument console in the bike with side-stand cut-off sensor and USB charging and Hero’s i3S start/stop technology for more fuel efficiency. It starts at Rs 76,301, ex-showroom.
Passion Plus Price
The new version of Passion Plus was likes by many peoples for a long time. This shows that both Passion Pro and Passion Xtec attract customers. In comparison, Passion Pro was an expensive option, competing with Hero Super Splendor 125, which has an ex-showroom price of Rs 84,428.
